Backstage at the Pittsburgh Zoo

My mom bought my family a zoo pass for Christmas and it comes with perks like 'Members Only' nights and last night was 'Sand Shark' night. I decided to stay home with the girls and give our bedrooms a scrub down so DH, Jimmy and a buddy got to check it out. They loved it.
DH told me the zoo cast was luring the animals up to the glass with food so you got a very up close look and was able to pet a few. You were able to stay through all of the feedings, including the sharks. All food items were only a $1 and rides were all free. It was especially nice because it was not open to the general public which meant very few people. They made it home about 11pm and our son went straight upstairs and passed out!
