Potty Training

Well I have to say this is one of the hardest things I think we've done yet. Gia is being very difficult when it goes to peeing on the potty. The first day Jim and I tried she actually stood up on the lid and peed right on top of the potty chair! DH laughed and said we tell her to "pee on the potty" and she did just that. On day 2 I called grandma over to give Gia potty bootcamp, which helped a little. Now we are working with Pull-ups and lots and lots of 'pee breaks'. At least her Pull-ups have Disney Princesses on them...designer diapers. Hey whatever works

Disney World

We are heading back to Disney World in September and Jimmy and I are so excited I cant wait. We are fortunate enough to be there for the Worlds Fall Fair in Epcot and Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. We are making plans to eat at the Royal Table with Cinderella, dressing up in our Halloween costumes and trick or treating (my favorite time of year), eating with Chef Mickey! The fall decorations are supposed to be beautiful that time of year. The fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is something everybody should see at least once once in their life, it truly is a magical experience. Ive been scouting Ebay for trading pins already. I cant wait!!

Spring is here

We enjoyed the warm weather and got to play with our new outside toys!

Bumper cars

Our family dinner was interrupted by a knock on the door from our neighbor telling us to hurry outside because someone had smashed into my car. A drunk driver hit my car, tried to run and hit my neighbors truck, tried to get away once again and was caught on the end of the street by the police. He was arrested and we are assessing the damage, at least the loser has insurance so i can put my car into the garage and get a rental in the meantime! Thank goodness the police were in the right place at the perfect time.

The Sandbox

I asked my mom to purchase the children outdoor play toys for Easter, possibly a sandbox. She checked into it and the lady bug sandboxes are about $50 and only one child could fit in it.
When I was little my grandfather built me a sandbox and I so that was the solution. Jimmy and DH built a really nice sandbox and it cost under $50 for the building materials and the play sand plus all three of the children could fit in it. The family bought sand/yard toys! It all worked out and the box is really great. Way to go Jimmy
